I made it to level 73 in the intro zone with the earthen and I have got to say: I have not had this much buyers remorse in years. It’s not just because the EA is overpriced. EA is always a waste of money, but I paid for EA in Diablo IV and I atleast thoroughly enjoyed the campaign. D4 was fun all the way till the credits rolled. Overpriced, but still fun.
I didn’t think I would be refunded because I put like 10 hours into the expansion and got to level 73, and even used a boost and got it to level 71. I submitted the refund thinking it would be denied, and it was just approved about an hour ago.
Anyway, I would’ve been cool paying like $30-40 bucks for this. But this is not a $90 product. Maybe I’ll come back for a season when the expansion goes on sale.

On the other hand I’ve been having a blast in the new expansion!
Already better than Dragonflght in my opinion.
Dragonflight leaned way too heavy on a kiddy/Disney vibe. I mean blizzard writers lean a certain way definitely so it’s still there but not a prevalent.
Aesthetically it’s leaps better. The art and music departments carry this game.

D4 was released unfinished so Kotick could cash in before leaving, it’s taken them a year to put/fix all the content in and the xpac is about to come out.
So rather than make xpac awesome they’ve been fixing the game.
Just my 2 cents but WoW is miles ahead in that respect.

Am I the only one who just bought the Epic Edition because I always do for the extras? The whole EA thing is annoying because everyone assumes people who bought Epic bought it for EA. I didn’t even know EA existed when I purchased it…

This, I was expecting another blizzard fiasco of a launch, but it’s been smooth as butter. Well except getting my hunter stuck under the city. Pro Tip, do not fly to the bottom of that hole in the middle of the city, it’s a portal to stuck.

I just bought the Epic only for EA, because this weekend I have time to play, next week I don’t… Week worth it. Really enjoying it. Just wish they have you an option to show down xp gain. I am leveling too fast…

That’s awesome you got a refund! Now you can just farm up the gold to add $45+ to your bnet balance if you want and pay almost nothing for the base game 
That’s what I did for Dragonflight anyway, so I basically paid next to nothing for it

Thing with WoW, they keep adding content over time. Always have, you are not going to have everything up front, and the cost will be the same, until maybe a year or two has passed and you get a holiday sale. I am enjoying it. You didnt make it underground. You hit 80 and still have 3 or more unfinished zones. There is a whole lot you havent explored.
But hey, there are enough people for me to queue up fast in a dungeon even on a dps toon, and for the most part no crowded areas, with me racing to get to things. I am at my own pace with alts already. Levling up my warband and enjoying content.

It boggles my mind that someone says this. For $20 more than the next cheapest bundle you get perks valued at $75+ but we’ve seen people complain about EA since they announced.
I’m glad Blizz is starting to care about customer service again and gave you a refund to keep you happy. Tell me though, did they charge you for the free 30 days of gameplay you got at the time of purchase? I assume they took away the toys and access to the pets too.

lol…they refunded me a couple copies of one of the expansions post Legion…cant rememeber if it was BFA or SL…but they did and didnt complain. lol
Honestly, I always end up with Epic but usually I buy whatever level they put the boost with and then upgrade later. This time I went straight to epic because of beta access (which I never used lol) and EA (which I am).
