Ngl, I’m kinda disappointed there’s no way to alter the appearance of Surging Totem.
Not exactly a fan of its current appearance and would personally like seeing the ability to choose if u use a racial totem appearance instead.

Just recently got it and god it looks so bad. I have race changed before for cooler looking totems, and now we are stuck with this one?! Most of the time we don’t even get to see our totems out anywhere near long enough like we use to and now we have a totem thats out a lot yet looks off unless we are Tauren. Fix it quick please blizz.

I, too, want an ascendance glyph! So sick of the current transformed appearance! Blech!
I mean heck I just want them to fix the base model and then allow us to glyph back
To the bad one if we want to … becuase you know there’s gonna be some strange folks who miss it.
Ascendance should shoot all four elements from the sky into the Shaman while they use the priest hover animation and turn an astral blue with lightning sparks through your body while keeping your current body/armor but slightly larger. You float back down when it ends.
Then make glyphs for changing the element most visible to water, fire, or air and the old graphic, of course, for the two people who still want it.

Seem most don’t like how surging totem looks and I’m over here much preferring it over my racial totems.
I e always thought though that they needed to come out with generic totems for people who wanted a change and those of use who don’t relate to the racial ones.
Also, yes! This would be cool!

I saw a video of someone pressing surging totem and he wasn’t placing it. Like he was using a macro that places the macro on the target when he presses that key. Is that a thing/possible?

I too would like Surging Totem to look like my racial totem instead of the generic eagle looking thing it is now. It looks so out of place next to my Draenei totems. If Blizzard really wants it to stand out they could either make it a 25%-50% larger totem, add a new Surging Totem model for each race, and or give it a different color accent that the other totems. Just as is it’s so boring and out of place.

@target doesn’t work on ground targeted spells. You’d have to use either @player or @cursor.
