Up until last week some time, whenever I’d take off on my drake mounts, I’d hit “Surge Forward” to climb, and get a burst of speed. Hit it again, and get another burst of speed. WIth those, I’d get high enough to angle down and gain “Thrill of the Skies”, and recharge while I glided. Now the burst of speed lasts only 2 seconds, if it applies at all, thus making climbing a futile effort, and burning all vigor charges, just to get up anywhere. It has rendered dragon flight useless and frustrating. What happened here?
As an example, if I take off at Khuri the Fishing Trainer in Waking Shores, it would take me two maybe three "surge forward"s to get up to Ruby Lifeshrine. Now I can’t reach the top with all of my charges.
