Surely every forsaken can get new body like Nathanos

All you need is alive close relative and powerful necromancer.

Maybe not every forsaken, but killing your brother to get a new look would be pretty fun quest experience.

Nope. You can’t. If you knew how Forsaken were raised, you’d know exactly why you can’t, too. Forsaken aren’t in possession of somebody else’s body, they’re in possession of their own body. The mangled corpse you have? That’s your body from where you were buried in Lordaeron.

Nathanos’ almost pristine, dead body? That’s how it was when he was left to die and rot away. Yes, his corpse was obviously preserved quite handsomely, but there’s a large difference in quality of his body, and the basic Forsaken’s body.

have you even read a short story about Nathanos new body?

Play a regular human if you want a Nathanos-like character…

It’s his cousin’s body. Sylvanas did some special ritual and Nathanos got a new body.

Hmm… I was sure it was his own body.

Oh well.

Yep, its a short story about him going from ghoul to undead human looking.

all regular humans are goody-two-shoes light weilders. Nathanos is extra edgy with red eyes, not the same

Normal human models that are on the Alliance with pale skin and red eyes.

Sounds boring zzz

i rather the undead skinny humans we already have with just a straight spine and inside the body bones

More human torture?

After the forcing of Hillsbrad refugees to become forsaken?

By the light, no!

Though this does make me think, Calia Menethil looks rather well put-together for an undead. Perhaps just light forge undead instead?

The forsaken really can’t do that on a large scale though or at all anymore. There are some survivors of Lordaeron down in Stormwind, but the majority of the population was killed and raised. So they’re most all already undead.

Plus the ritual for Nathanos required a val’kyr to perform it and the forsaken have none of those left. The three remaining val’kyr are bound to Sylvanas and would have followed her. So the forsaken can’t be raised anymore by their own means.

Yes! That’s most fun thing about being forsaken

entire nation of valkyrs in shadowlands. And it’s not on “large scale” - Player character is always special and chosen, no one else can get it

Be smited!

I don’t say this to many people but:

There’s a LEGO piece out there somewhere waiting for you to step on it.

play a warlock then

Why is it undead like Death Knights and San’layn don’t rot but they can’t figure out how to keep regular forsaken from rotting?

I say with Sylvanas gone now the Royal Apothecary Society starts working on an elixir to restore Forsaken bodies instead of making Blight and Plague.

blight and plague is forsaken cultural identity. that’s why Calia doesn’t fit

On a side note about nathanos’s red eyes.

I am a blood death knight. A blood elf blood death knight. I demand evil, vampiric red eyes!!!

Damn, that’s some serious hatred.

With calia now being the forsaken leader it makes me sad that quest ideas like this will probly never happen again

Calia isn’t the forsaken leader. IIRC one of the story guys at Blizz said in an interview that she would never be Horde. Speculation is she is going to end up leading an Alliance faction of Forsaken, most likely the undead Nelves raised at Darkshore.
