Pretty sure the data would speak for itself but Horde is getting DESTROYED left and right and everyone is switching alliance…
Where do you think such imbalance leads?

Are you talking about random BGs?
People actually still complain about random BGS?
Yeah i am. thats the first experience new players get in this slowly dying game of attempted pvp.
Stop acting like you dont see that as an issue. if you dont you are simply blind.
PVP IS LITERALLY HEMORRHAGING PEOPLE LOL
I get what you’re saying when it comes to new player interactions… But the issues go way deeper than that.
But I think we can mostly agree the “horde is getting stomped by alliance in random BGs in my server group” is one of the least important things we should have on a list to work on.
What im saying is its about to create another issue which will compound with the others and thats player participation and player fatigue!
Nobody is going to care about anything in a minute…that is a death of a game mode lol
Starting to think blizzard wants pvp dead so its less work
Who would want to do reg bgs? They are sweatier than rbgs.
What the world needs is solo rbgs…
I am an alliance and have over 90% win rates…
the funniest part??
sometimes I party sync over to Horde side and I have the same win rate…
it’s the people you play with and the effort put in… NOT the side you are on
Diablo 4!
You have a high win rate when you bring a level 70 toon into lower level PvP?
Again ss proof . I’m going to say that you played two games total and saw 97%.
With all the cross-faction stuff Blizz has added, I don’t see why they wouldn’t just pool all players into the same BG queue regardless of faction. No need for Merc any more that way. Let it be random among all players queued. Problem solved.
Swtor did this but imo I don’t like it . Granted it’s nice for q times but, it just ruins my immersion because it’s kind of weird . But for wow it would be much weirder then swtor . In star wars they can get away with it because at times in the story it makes sense . Where as in wow it doesn’t really make sense .
They will eventually have to cull the whole faction thing in pvp if this keeps up. participation will suffer.
Pretty sure most new players choose alliance. So they will be happy
Formatting was weird in the block text.
Last fall I took everyones armory profiles that posted on the BG forums and took their win/loss stats and put them all into a giant spreadsheet to get a true Horde vs Ally win %. On one side there are alliance stats and on the other side there are Horde stats. The spreadsheet is 715 lines long filtering out all of the brawls.
Alliance | Horde |
Games Played | Games Played |
44,667 | 45,944 |
Wins | Wins |
25,364 | 29,501 |
Win % | Win % |
56.78% | 64.21% |
Actually, it makes a lot of sense. Anduin teamed up with Thrall to fight the horde. There have been storylines of different factions of alliance teaming up with different factions of the horde to fight opposing factions of the alliance or horde.
The problem with the data that has always been used for this is that it has thrown everything into the same pool. Epic BGs, random BGs, low level BGs…
A real analysis would have to be done separately for nonepic max level BGs, because the people who play those are not the same as the people who play epic BGs or low level BGs. You are not going to find many high rated players doing epic BGs or low level BGs.
In the future, when WoW players try Classic WoW, they’ll wonder what are factions? Why on Azeroth would the devs purposefully split the playerbase into two separate groups that can’t play with each other? When does Diablo 6 come out?
Classic wow was horrible
I tried to save my partner from getting ganked and got polymorphed for 3 minutes straight with no ability to hit trinket
Why cant I trinket poly on a priest!!!
Poor Joker/Bob.
