The main difference I see is that now most Youtubers and streamers have decided that the WoW cow was drying and are now all paying lipservice to the newer cow.
Pity that they ALL do that in such a ridiculously exaggerated way that it’s obvious they are insincere. Nobody talks that way if they are sincere. Bunch of hypocrites.

Game isn’t what it once was but the sheer sentiment it holds in so many people’s hearts means that it will never truely die.
Even WoW TBC alone dwarves the vast majority of cost-viable MMOs.
I gotta agree with that guy…the forums are a lot slower than a year ago.

There’s about a dozen political idiots that constantly chime in on every thread about representation and such.
There’s another dozen trolls that create and/or chime in on every thread because they’re high and they think making people mad is fun.
There are others (like me) that keep coming here because I need something to read while I’m at work.
None of those things point to a healthy game.

Don’t be fooled. This forum is actually kept “alive” by the the same 50 characters.
Occasionally there are some new ones coming and going, rotating around. But for the most part, all the ramblings are the same people. If you hang around enough you start to notice the patterns.
The one that always makes an Elf thread.
The one that always defends the company.
The one that demands something.
The one that complains about maintenance.
The one… you get where I am going.
Trust, it’s the same people, they just switch characters every now and then lol

Sorry, but I don’t get it. While I agree that WoW, and even more Blizzard, have a whole bunch of “issues”, there are LOTS of people who behave like they were sent by the FF14 devs to help in killing this game. Obviously false, but that illusion is very strong.
That somebody can actually keep playing a game, or at least keep a subscription, when they obviously want that game dead and buried, and are waiting to dance around its corpse, is beyond absurd.
Seems Sylvanas is not the only one with a split soul, here.
