Support Spec Question

In Mythic+/raids, which DPS spec brings the best/most support or utility? I am a big fan of support classes but not healing and I know WoW has been cutting down on that type of thing for a while now but since my class knowledge these days is basically 0, I come here to ask this question.

Prob. Ret Pally or Moonkin Druid with Resto affinity. Shaman may have a bit more after the rework - they are getting more totoms back.

Druid and Shaman seem ok, looking looking for other suggestions as well.

Rogue

I would like to introduce you to WW monk.

+5% physical damage for whole party, +10% run speed increase for the whole party, Ranged CC, AOE stun, cleanse poisons & diseases, and Ring of Peace.

Not many classes bring that much utility.

I heard that WW monk was pretty meh in SL or had mechanical issues or something not that great.

WW has had bugs forever and they also are normally C tier DPS.

But what class offers that level of utility and has top DPS?

Just a heads up, you will not get invited for supporting ability or nonsense like that, if you do half the damage of the first place DPS, people will still not invite you.

Warlocks…

Yes, the warlocks…that cant even interrupt if they don’t have the right pet out.

Sure, they do have nice stuff…but in my opinion monks have a better tool kit.

Yes we are! =D

Paladin, Druid, Shaman are all high-utility classes.

Depends on your group and the encounter, but like, at least one warlock is pretty much going to be guaranteed in every raid.

How so? I don’t know Warlocks much.

Yeah, raids 100%. Every raid wants at least 1 warlock.

M+s…not so much.

Gate and summon means most groups are gonna take one.

If you’re primarily pugging though, I wouldn’t base yoru consideration on that.

I eventually want to find groups and not just pug.

Locks got invited to raid because they’re versatile ranged damage dealer, they just happen to have utility on top of it.

nah m8 it’s about the closet

Nah, nerf their damage and you won’t see any of them in raids.
