My character was stuck inside ToS, A boss I had killed was bugged alive, so when I killed myself later in the raid to get ported back to start, I got stuck in death, unable to release, unable to do anything. Turning game on off, unstuck, nothing worked. I am still locked out of mythic tomb. Absolutely nothing in the prefed support helps or was, and its impossible to get a ticket going. All you get is the runaround and 0 actual help. Luckily joining a party and leaving kicked me out of the dungeon but I still cannot do my mog run this week. I get having a talk to GM button still would be extra work, since this game still makes an INSANE amount of money…you could afford it.
Wdym impossible to start a ticket? It’s literally not

There are three options to try:
- Self service option
- Stay logged out of that character for 45 minutes
- Have a friend invite you to group then leave
Always try the CS forums, as well. People there are helpful.
It’s not impossible. The articles will always come up first, because it’s usually something players can solve with said articles.

I did join a group and leave it, so now my character is out of the dungeon. What I need is a GM to fix the dungeon so I can go back in but theres 0 options for that and 0 ways to send a ticket. I do not want to be locked out of the dungeon for the week over a glitch
I dont know why you keep saying that there are 0 ways to send a ticket.

Please explain to me the process of opening a ticket because I have been through every option and selection on the support page. All i get is premade answers and a survey if the answer worked.
Did you do this? I just followed this instructions and the ticket option popped right up.

You can either use the reset instances button in the game’s UI, or wait outside of the instance for it to soft reset on its own. I do not believe GMs are allowed to help with resetting instances.
Yes, I did that. The issue is a raid boss is alive even though I killed her. So its locked the instance. When I killed myself I had to join a group and leave it just to get kicked out. Now I cannot enter the raid. I also waited, did the contact us etc, but it just shoots me back to the same page and telling me to unstuck my character again. No matter the issue I put in I just get looped in a circle.
Ok. But did you create a ticket concerning that issue?
That is what I am trying to help with. I cant help with the issue of being locked out. Only putting a ticket in can even possibly help.

Even with that boss bugged, you should still be able to do the other bosses.
You can make a post in the Bugs forum as well as submit a bug in game.
Unfortunately a GM would not be able to help with this instance, they cannot reset the instance or clear that boss or anything like that.
This boss bugs out when killed too quickly, in the future try removing all gear and just using auto attacks or other weak attacks.
Edit to add; you would not be able to open a ticket with this specific issue because it’s not something a GM can help with. That’s why you aren’t seeing any way to submit something about this particular issue.
What you could do in the future is use the self help option to move a character and if that doesn’t help it allows you to submit a ticket for a GM to move the character. Joining a group is likely faster though.
And even if they could, it would take longer than just soft-resetting the instance by staying zoned out.

Sounds like the desolate host fight. This happens when you kill the boss too fast due to the transitions of the fight being ignored.
What do you think support will do?
Literally log and wait for it to soft reset (anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour). I doubt the run is THAT dire that you need to complete it asap.
What does being locked out for an hour or so have to do with money and talking to gms?
Situations like this are why we don’t get to talk to gms anymore. Too many frivolous tickets being thrown in that have to get sifted through vs the player opening up google and typing in “stuck dead on desolate host”.
Patience.
Unfortunately sometimes you get stuck in combat even if you jump off to try and reset the fight.
Fight is perma combat stuck.
But you literally log off, do something else for a bit. Come back like half an hour later and its all reset.

Sorry wasn’t clear. I meant after the instance had soft reset, they should still be able to get to the other bosses in the raid. I don’t think desolate host gatekeeps anything, but I also have the skip unlocked and usually avoid that boss now.
It usually doesn’t, but if you run it like how you normally run the raid. Host is last before you hit maiden.
You full clear everything. Leave host for last. Then jump off to tp you back to the start for maiden and so on.
And after the soft reset, host would be up again. The problem solves itself tbh.
I’m still running it for mog and the snake mount. I wish the skip helped lol.
If they are unable to help thats fine, read the ticket, and respond so. Not given the option to even explain your issue or be told its not fixable is infuriating. The system just sends you in circles. Last time I played wow you could just open a ticket and you would get a response saying what could or could not be done.
The amount of tickets they go through a day, that would be impossible within a reasonable amount of time to fix your issue.
Because your problem is VERY niche and doesn’t happen often. It’s happened to me twice in hundreds of clears.
When in doubt, google. That’s how I found out about just logging off until it soft resets. If you are lucky and can rez, just hearth and wait. If you are stuck dead, log to another toon for a bit.
It’s not a problem a gm needs to help with. If you WANT to submit something, submit a bug report on the issue.

also, My main issue was I was dead, unable to release. I relogged, did character unstuck, Waited 15 minutes, everything. Nothing worked and was unable to open a ticket about it. I did not know you could just join a party and leave to get kicked. I did, on accident asking a guildie for a brez but then remembering they couldnt enter a combat locked raid so I left the party and by happy accident was kicked. Now if that had not worked, and I am unable to ticket about it, I am just stuck for who knows how long. You say soft reset in a few hours, for people who don’t know that, and nothing in the IN GAME says anything about it…Wow shouldnt need google, addons, everyone else in the world to solve their problems for them
Nothing worked because you didn’t stay offline.
An hour tops. Usually fixes itself within 15-30 minutes.
Why WOULDN’T you use google?
It’s such a vast source of knowledge and resources and you would have found your issue within seconds vs wasting all that time sifting through ticket nonsense and potentially wasting a gm’s time.
It’s a huge game. Bugs happen. It’s inconceivable for blizz to have fixes and resources posted for every problem. Thankfully we have GOOGLE. Wowhead. Reddit. Thousands upon thousands of players combined experiences with solutions and explanations to most of these problems.
So I ask again, why wouldn’t you use google? If you don’t, you are missing out on countless player made resources.

I would try the CS forums. Someone there should be able to give you the correct ticket path, if waiting an hour doesn’t fix it.
