IDK if I’m just bad at PvP or what, but I never use Arcane Orb ever (except if I que 3v3, but let’s be real no one ques with an Arcane mage in 3v3 lol) and it just doesn’t seem like it adds anything to the table other than getting a rare rogue out here and there. So I was wondering if you guys think it would be worth dropping orb and picking up Supernova, at least it can be used for an interrupt.

i play supernova too, good arcane mages use orb but i fail to land orb most the times, supernova is like playing defensively
here’s the thing. Supernova is a really cool and interesting spell. But it competes with Arcane orb. Supernova does sooooo little damage (almost half of arcane orb) and you have to factor in that arcane orb also gives you charges. Arcane’s damage in PVP is super low right now, so giving up even more damage ends up being a huge loss.
They need to buff supernova’s base damage, and also buff arcane damage in general and you would see more mages play it.
