I just downloaded the addon superguildinvite and I don’t have the thing on my mini map like in the videos I watched on how to use it. How do I set it up? How do I get superguildinvite to pop up?
you might try either googling for instruction vids or posting this on the “UI and Macro” forum where more techy type people are.
Just delete it. Most people hate anyone who uses it.

Okay, but how do I add people to my guild then? I just want my guild to be a active guild and I heard about this addon and someone getting alot of members which was why I downloaded it.
you don’t, just delete it
that addon - and the mass guild invite spam it creates - is garbage

Its a very unpopular add on and anyone who spams me with it will never get me to join their guild.
If you are looking for members:
Ask in Trade chat every now and then. Create a macro but don’t spam it, just every 15 mins or so is enough. Make it seem appealing. Be honest. Don’t harass. And if you do it right you will get the kind of people you want.

You can make an advertisement and let people know you’re recruiting and what for. Make sure you have a reason to join your guild, even if it’s just a social guild.
Use the ads in public chat. You can also post a recruitment ad in the guild recruitment section of the forum as well as your server section.
The idea is not to go around asking every one individually, but advertise and let people decide if they want to join based on what you have to offer.

I’m going to echo the most popular sentiment here: ditch the mass spam invite addon. Those addons never have and never will produce a quality guild, and on top of that, they’re spammy and intrusive. You’ll build a bad name for yourself right off the bat if you use one.
A better idea, aside from the Trade Chat ads, would be to list your guild for random players to apply (“Recruitment” in the guild panel). I know the general opinion is that the application system is useless - and it does have its flaws - but it is by far how we get most of our members.
Generally we have anywhere from 15-30 applicants on that list, and we end up getting in contact with applicants maybe once every couple of days.
The advantages to this are:

The people are coming directly to you, of their own volition. So, right off the bat you know they have at least a budding interest in your guild, rather than the join being “solicited.”

You can have a description of your guild permanently available for people to read and then directly apply. If there’s something particularly different about your guild, or things you will (or won’t) want to do as a group, you can be up front about it in detail.

You can discreetly decline people that are clearly not a good fit. If you solicit invites, then decide against inviting a particular person, you’re going to have to discuss right then and there why you are declining to let them on board. If you mass spam invites, you can and definitely will get people joining that you do not want in your guild.
The app system ain’t perfect, but give it a look. Good luck.
