I am a pet battler who loves when we get the week of bonus experience for our pet battles and usually try to level 40+ pets to at least 20. I had no idea about this squirt day. Sounds like I missed it though.

Squirt comes around weekly I think, and the combo of Squirt and the bonus Exp next in August I think. There are a few sites that track it
