Super Powers in WoW; Why we need more, and what is a superpower anyhow?

These are just EXAMPLES of items or toys that give my toon his Super Powers.
These are things that I can use forever, that are often rare or difficult to get through obscure means such as questing or treasure hunting.

They effectively grant my character a new ability. This ability will cause an animation, an interaction, movement changes, or awesome particle effects on my character or mount.

This game is not just about the World, it’s about my experience and interaction with the world. These types of items are more than just a trinket; they are decisions, choices i’ve made about what items to hunt out, grind out. Things I can remember looking for or farming. Moments created between me and my toon that are unique to me.

WoW needs more items like this; items that are not random loot drops from instances and dungeons and raids; rather items that i can find or create simply interacting with the world that all change the way I interact with the World of Warcraft

I wish I could get ahold of another falling flame on my mage. I’ve had more fun with that thing than any other toy in game. But the damn thing never drops… :rage:

It’s satisying to use it early in new expansions, or when you’re trying to save a guildie from a group of Alliance, or when you’re getting ganked and need a fast escape.

I want to use it from the top of the sword in silithus

I actually flew to the very top of the sword. The skybox limit is literally something like 10 yards above the sword pommel. The damn thing is so big that blizzard had to contour the sky box around the sword so you could actually get to the top.

If you tried to use the falling flame from the pommel, you’d quickly splat against the skybox and make a b-line straight down at 800% movement speed.

Greatest belly-flop ever.

I’m not ashamed to say I’ve splatted against the sides of mountains or “George of the Jungle’d” face first into a tree canopy with no way to recover my body. Really need gliders with that thing lol.
