Super Powerful Computer. Wow Classic wont Utilize 100% GPU or anything

Also, classic doesn’t use dx 12, so no multi-core optomizations, your beefy cpu is only getting 1 core truly used.

You need a good computer to play it on max settings @ 240fps. dont act like you know what your talking about. Obv you dont know about high end gaming which is the subject here. sorry you cant afford it.

While WOW Classic does use the Legion or BFA client engine, the content in it does not fully leverage that engine.
Does not use all the effects, or physics, etc.
Classic will still run on a potato of a laptop

Oh man you are definitely letting everyone know how big your money is.

How big is your money?

Is it as big as your big computer?

I have the same problem in the Wild Lands of Zelta (Age of Conan). Really low frame rate even though I have a pretty good system. I’ve played Age of Conan, Lotro, SWTOR and of course WoW. Of the four games none of them max out the cpu or gpu. WoW comes the closest, the other three its not even close.

The only thing I can think of is the age of the games. They just are not optimized for the newer Rigs. AMD and Nvidia are more worried about the Triple A titles than they are about older MMOs.

According the the explanation they gave at Blizzcon 2018, Classic WoW uses the old databases with the new engine.

So all the code that is running (the engine) is 2018 code, not 2006 code. That includes the code that draws models.

I logged into retail today for a while. When I went to the capital city my frames-per-second dropped to 20.

Lmao r u kidding me he said retail wow lmfao
Dude wow is the most non cpu intense game there is!!! My god I’ve read comments you’ve wrote and your wrong 90% of the time

and make sure to use the built in cup holder, though most new desktops do not have this anymore :O(

Yea Idk about these kids. I had to cut my new box with an angle grinder to install my old cup holder.
So I have to nudge it closed and open. Np.

Use Nvidia Inspector and build a profile. On top of this, use console commands and/or edit your config for higher settings.

The in-game settings alone are for simple consumers and won’t utilize all of your hardware. Mind you, this doesn’t include the plethora of OS, BIOS, registry, and driver-specific tweaking you can do external to the game.

You’re all over the place bb

i think low spec requirement for WoW is necessary for people who multibox

Some pretty good video of people playing WoW and Classic on their phone via Steamlink.

It actually looks playable/controllable.

It’s somewhat heartwarming to know that a person with a mid spec gaming PC from 2012 is getting the same WoW experience as the OP.

Money doesn’t fix the FPS in WoW, go flex elsewhere.

Is that accurate? Multi-core processors have been out for a very long time (not claiming that this is not true! I don’t know, just asking).
