Super low loading when changing server

I have had this issue now for about 2 weeks where, when I decide to log on to another server, there is a significant lag.

I just tested it now and from the moment I clicked to change server, there was a 16 second delay, with the server screen image darknened.

Is there any news at all of this being fixed anytime soon?

I’ve had the same experience, also zone transitions with portals. Windows actually tells me that WoW is “not responding” due to the long load times. Needs to be addressed, it’s getting worse. I know this is server side because I recently switched ISPs and I’m getting much better latency times now on the new one, but the loading screen lag persists.

I noticed this myself a while back and clearing the cache temporarily fixes it, for me at least. Normally it should take a second or two to switch server but some month(s) ago it took longer and longer.
