having watched his video and how he has said that Arcane mage is a struggle and not worth taking
Can the vast knowledge of these forums help him see what many of you say that Arcane mage is is amazing and people need to learn to play

No one said it’s amazing.
Arcane has clear definitive strengths, but generally those strengths are overshadowed by fire because why cast when you can do things instantly.
Idk what the point is in saying something that is not even remotely close to what is said
Can you explain that to Supatease since he pretty much said it’s just a bad spec overall in comparison to all the specs and classes in wow
Lets say Arcane can do 250k damage in 15 seconds of casting on a 100k health pool. That’s pretty cool, 2.5x overkill on someone.
Now let’s say Fire can do 200k damage in 8 seconds using only instant casts that can’t be stopped.
Which would you rather take? The one that has the instant CC in DB and has a different damaging school ability from its CC ability, or the one that’s all on one school for everything and requires almost 2x as long for barely more damage? Obviously you take the easier to pilot spec.
Arcane is viable, it’s not S tier god spec, but it’s viable. It just requires a lot more planning and work to make it happen right now.

It’d sure be interesting to see good players on Arcane if they brought Fire down to reasonable levels.
I mean that’s with every spec though. However class balance has NEVER EVER been realistically good.
Every Season its been so broken for some comps/specs that you need to gravitate a bit towards the meta to get to a competitive level.
That’s just the beauty of a MMO - it’s not going to be even as everyone has unique abilities and they adjust mainly off PVE numbers which is a joke because melee will generally always do more in PVP than PVE scenario as casters run their booty.
I mean, I love playing with Volkazar as Arcane. It just comes down to the reality check though that if we just played as Fire we would win probably 80% of the games that we lost.
It’s not like the spec is unplayable, it’s just everything else is just so ungodly overtuned that it’s hysterical.
Plus side about arcane though?
If it’s Stealth/mage mirror, arcane will slaughter the fire mage 1000000% of the time in the 1v1

I played Cata S10 Ret Rogue Rshaman to glad with double smokebomb and one shot like damage pretty much anytime throughout the match. I don’t think that season was remotely balanced.
In term of comp diversity, Cata was pretty balanced, You could literally play everything to high rating especially in s9/s10. S11 sadly went to crap real fast with legendary daggers and pve trinkets and weapons.
Diversity doesn’t mean good balance. I remember sweating for days playing rogue in SW Gates dueling non stop gitting gud enough to push RMP vs Snutz etc and if Rogue wasn’t as broken as it was (it was god tier even compared to SL standards before leggo daggers) I prob would of fell short. My friend who was barely lower than cutoff on his Ret inevitably went from duelist to R1 when he returned to WoW years later when Ret was in a better state.
Diversity =/= balance beginning of SL pvp there was all sorts of classes because people were excited. Not because it was balanced S1. (Far From it)
Im glad nerfing craven has made elemental shaman better than rogues and mages on the pvp tier. Who would have thought that all we needed to end the rogue mage teams was 20% less damage to crushing blow? Supatease is a genius and really understands the game
You do know that ele actually does do well into RMX right lol?
Maybe its not specifically the match up of ele vs rogue mage that makes rogue mage the best dps’s in the game. Unless you too have supateass brain.
Doing well = doing damage and being annoying as ele true against RMP.
Winning the game vs a good RMP who pillars properly and triple crosses not so much.
They virtually unkillable even if you 3x their damage at end of the match by yourself.
Ele is good vs rmp? I thought they just wait until earth ele is down then clap the ele’s cheeks.
