Launcher indicates only the normal 1 hour maintenance window tomorrow, not a good indication of joyous journeying 
Thankfully it takes almost zero downtime to turn on a global buff.

Got all my alts parked for weeks inside inns for the rested xp without being able to play them… come on Blizz give us the xp buff so we can play!

Unironically, they did promise to nerf boosting and they have to do a bit of work in addition to the SoM changes they’re giving us.
Not saying it’s a good reason, but it does mean there’s more to do than just change XP gains real quick.

Yeah this is the reason I thought it might take longer as they are rolling out changes to mob pathing etc in dungeons for mage boosting etc. But I will remain hopeful that is sorted and it is just numerically adding the buff and also easy numerical change to the +/- level range for getting XP with other toons in your group.
Hopefully they keep that to 10 so you dont get too harshly penalised within the same expansions level range, but i have a bad feeling based on SoM that it is gonna be +/- 5.
Knowing blizzard they won’t remove the boosting until prepatch or something.
Wouldn’t be shocked to see both XP and boosting live tomorrow
I think they’d try to hard avoid having a 50% XP boost live and mage boosts still possible

tomorrow is not the day. the leak was wrong. And by all means when they do the joyus xp buff there will be a blue post for sure before hand which we havent gotten yet. im calling july 26th as the date

Wouldn’t bet on a blue post prior, they didn’t do it with any of the server stuff.
Not saying it’s tomorrow, but likely we’ll get a blue post same day.
