They did it with raising character limits, pve to pvp transfers and removing faction limits on pvp servers.
They do it a lot where they announce things after they come out.

servers are still down.
Pretty long for just routine maintenance.
Seems as though they might be implementing something new.

Last few weeks servers have been down nearly the full hour.
Sorry! Unlikely it’s today as it doesn’t fit with a good timeline.
That doesn’t matter because I haven’t been around to be affected by it. And also
Who’s timeline? They’ve been very ambiguous with time frames.
6-8 weeks a few weeks before pre-patch.
A few weeks from now is Aug second, no way they release prepatch before they delete servers. Next week at the earliest imo.
