Summon Random Favorite Mount character specific plz?

I love the feature… however, now that I have a lot of alts I don’t necessarily want the same set of random mounts for all characters… but i love the randomness about it so keep that part.

Like my new Vulpera really looks odd in a lot of the mounts that a Tauren looks good on… and vice versa

What do you guys think? Add a variable for “Summon Random Favorite Mount”, you can still use it as it is now, but also lets you build a different set per character.

Or is it possible there is an Add-on that would do that or something close?

I might actually use the feature if that were the case. I only ever used it for the flightpath mounts in Legion.

I usually pick one ground mount and one flying mount per character though.

I’m sure you can write a /castrandom macro and just shift-click a bunch of mounts in there.

Never heard of /castrandom - Will look into it. Is that an actual in game command?

Yes.

It would look something like:
/castrandom Ankoan Waveray, Blessed Felcrusher, Swift Warstrider, etc

You can insert [flyable] or [noflyable] between /castrandom and the first mount name to make it only summon those in zones where you can or cannot fly.

Actually I’ve wanted this feature as well. But doing the macro seems to be the only way ATM. Kinda clunky but it works.

Damn, j just did it but only 255 character so could only do like 8 mounts… maybe I could do it through GSE.

Try the addon “Opie” I have rings (once you watch a video on how it works you’ll understand what I’m taking about) For every class bound to my mount hotkey. The youtuber Dratnos has a short and great guide on it. :call_me_hand:

Problem with /castrandom , is some mounts names are like…

xarthax the undying tree of the northern mountainscape

Which eats a ton of macro space.

There are plenty of addons that do this, but i wouldnt mind it being an official feature.

Im still waiting for the day druids can select favorite shapeshift forms though.

Theres glyphs to make all our forms random but theres some i like more than others.
