Look you lazy little git, you’re in Valdrakken. There’s literally a portal to Uldum RIGHT THERE. In the amount of time it takes to type “summon please” and waiting for others in the party to get to the stone, you could have gotten to the stone on your own . . . twice.
Five people in this party.
Four of them are waiting for summons
Am I crazy in thinking that once you’ve got 5 people, everyone should head to the instance?
If I’m in a 5 man group and 4 are insisting on the summons, I leave. Alternatively, if it’s my group and they aren’t willing to even try to travel, I redo the whole group and THEY get to find another.
I actually had a group setup last season for the Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr dungeon to do a weekly dungeon quest from Valdrakken.
I was the only person at the meeting stone at the time, But stated I couldn’t summon until another person arrived. Seconds after this, Everyone left the group and I had to re-create it.
Lately I’ve been in a lot of groups where 4 people travel to the zone and one lazy player waits in Valdrakken. But then the people already there are too stubborn to zone out and summon.
Had a tank/healer last night apply together, but neither moved from valdrakken. Neither said anything, I was phased in neltharus so couldnt summon, they left.
I think once the m+ group fills it should auto-summon everyone to the instance but that’s just me. I guess give people portals if they do it in pre-mades. Maybe right clicking on the key would let you summon you and everyone in your group to the dungeon.
If it is a hill you want to die on, go die on that hill then. Sure it is lazy, but I also imagine more than a fair number of people probably don’t have a damn clue where the dungeons are because they aren’t true wow vets and weren’t around when the content was initially relevant to begin with.
I care about my time and generally that means summoning the lazy bad words so we can get the run in/done and I can be rid of them rather than sitting inside the instance until they decide to get here. To be fair though, there have been times I’ve done exactly that and other times I’ve just dropped group if I don’t see the dots moving.
When I pug this has happens, I give them a few minutes and if non of them move, I leave. IDGAF, if someone is too lazy to make their own way they don’t deserve a tank, especially when the key holder is sitting in a major city next to a portal and is begging for a summon.
I don’t care if it’s your key and you think you have some right, I’m out.
