Summon Cleansing Totem

Hey bug support squad :wave:

I have a fun bug for you. I was out farming herbs and flew over (what I assume) was a world quest that included the Summon Cleansing Totem extra action button. I left the area and it was still there, so I thought nothing of it.

Queue me getting pulled into a group for a key, I went to Academy and we got to the bird boss where I attempted to throw a ball into the goal to summon the boss itself. My extra action button, still showing a totem, proceeded to drop a cleansing totem in the dungeon.

Absolutely nothing I do or have done thus far has removed this from my character - dying, relogging, phasing into different zones, entering and leaving dungeons, the works.

I am currently standing outside of Academy and can drop the totem at will, screenshot included https://imgur.com/a/kH6tjGw

I’m not sure what the recreation steps are for something like this, but possible interactions with Overload Elemmental Herb (something I used during that time bank), or just dying with the totem on you.

I still can’t use my extra action button on my Evoker, which is unfortunate, so I may have to get a ticket to fix that.

Also turned off my UI to see if that was a cause, it was not.

Have the exact same bug and same experience in Academy I know your pain friend

I am having the same issue. Its just stuck on my screen, no UI addons. Nothing I do fixes it.

Same issue here. Blizzard needs to fix it ASAP. The world quest is gone too so I can’t “finish it to fix it”

add my warlock to the list… I’m keeping my other alts far away from that WQ to hopefully not get it on them too… :confused:

Also having this issue for about a week.

Update: Just ran an arena and it removed it. This doesn’t seem to work for everyone.

Same, I have a permanent cleansing totem at my disposal…

Can we get an update on this? The WQ is far gone and I still have the action on my druid screen. I just had to end a Dungeon because of it.

Do an arena skirmish it will remove it…

100% same isssue hear had to leave Academy today cause I couldn’t drop the ball lol, also I don’t pvp so I don’t have gear to do an arena and make people lose lol, just fix it

Blizzard… SERIOUSLY you NEED to fix this, it is directly impacting the ability to interact with core elements of this game. My group couldn’t even do an Academy key because of my DH having this bug. All the players understood, but still… This is an actual harm to progression of a player and there isn’t a reliable way to relieve the bug on our end (The arena skirmish is only a “chance” to remove it).

3wks is too long for something like this to exist.
