Summary of 11.0 Expansion (minus story)

  1. More minor quality of life improvements
  2. More talent tweaks
  3. New raids
  4. New dungeons
  5. No new PvP
  6. No new classes or races
  7. More classes opened up to all races
  8. No significant changes to Dragonflight’s formula for incentivizing daily activity
  9. No significant changes to Professions as seen in Dragonflight
  10. Dragonriding continues to be available in outdoor areas, catch-up mechanics for those who didn’t play through Dragonflight

A “Dragonflight 2.0” expansion should be… uh… interesting. Unless Blizzard is offering some major mechanical differences or play modes, it’ll play exactly like Dragonflight but in a different setting.

The game would’ve been so different if Alliance had gotten High Elves and Horde had gotten ogres back in TBC (as originally pitched before Metzen changed it to Draenei and Blood Elves).

I’d like to see the following, but I have doubts that we’ll actually get it:

  • Overhauled transmog system that utilizes dyes instead of recolors.
  • Overhauled mount system that utilizes dyes instead of recolors.

Hozen allied race - make it happen :+1:

Alliance would need Jinyu then (don’t know why Hozen and Jinyu weren’t added in BFA…)

“We need ogres to do that Chris Farley dance, from that skit he did with Patrick Swayze at Chippendales.”

It’s awesome that this or something just like it is something that was certainly said by Metzen at some point.
