Since we already have Chinese Zodiac Mounts in the store, we’ve already laid to rest the argument that external zodiac systems might be immersion-breaking. If there’s any truth to that claim, the ship has already sailed.
I would like to suggest a series of 12 mounts hand-crafted to represent each sign of the Tropical Zodiac. They don’t have to be “on the nose,” just themed well-enough to be identifiable by those familiar with astrology.
Aquarius could be an elongated water jug with a never-ending spiral of water gushing from the end like the afterburner on a rocket. Virgo could be a huge titan lady that carries you on her shoulders. Cancer could be a forward-facing crab that can harvest herbs without dismounting. Pisces could be a fish in a bubble that flies. Sagittarius could give us a centaur mount.
There are tons of possibilities for each mount, and astrologers like me would buy each and every one for our collections.
I feel like this would be a great way to generate revenue for the game and offer players a mount that feels as personal to them as the Chinese Zodiac Mounts do.
