Or Remnant: From the Ashes’s Rating vs Zone, but for Ilvl.
It’s the little up and down icons that show you how challenging the zone is going to be. It will show if you’re currently weak in a zone in terms of defense, but strong in terms of offense.
I personally Ilvl should benefit something like that having little arrow icons next to the number.
Idk, just something that popped in my head. Let me know what you guys think.
Explaination: This doesn’t change anything gameplaywise, it’s just an indicator on the character page, telling you if the zone your in is above or below you in terms of challenge. If say for example, the zone is ilvl 350, and i’m ilvl 325, it would show a red double arrow next to the numbers. If i’m 25 ilvls higher, then it will show a green double arrow.

while i like this more dangerous better the loot
we would have players abuse this if not fixed on hr 1
I’m not sure how, considering the suggestion i’m making is just a little indicator next to the ilvl, but i’m curious none the less on this.
lets say i have ilvl 425 and my area is beefed up and i invite you to my shard and you have 350ilvl the drops would be much better for you
if you did you own zone you might get 349ilvl gear
I don’t get it
you just want to know if you have high enough ilvl for content or not?

Pretty much, yes. I mean it’s just a little indicator suggestion for the UI and that’s it. That’s pretty much how it is in the other game, but with two different stats (which totals up your items you have equipped currently and perks). My suggestion would be a simplifed version of this.
Unless there’s an addon that already accomplishes this.
The suggestion doesn’t change loot drops or anything.

if thats the case might work out
but have the rewards come from quest then players would love it
The suggestion, literally doesn’t change anything gameplay-wise. it’s just an indicator on the character page, telling you if the zone your in is above or below you in terms of challenge. If say the zone is ilvl 350, and i’m ilvl 325, it would show a red double arrow next to the numbers.
