The announcement is 2 lines in your chat pain with not even an audible notification. Sorry, this seems rather petty to me.
What it seems like is something that was supposed to rare and special isn’t actually rare at all.

At least limit it just to Dragonflight zones. It’s nonsense that I can hear that someone made their Evoker weapon on Draenor, in an alternate timeline.

Count your blessing you didn’t have to always hear “Citizens of Dalaran!” Every 2 minutes. Or have your chat be spammed with “The Ice Stone has melted”
Congratulations on your one in a million event happening so you can document this, but this is what we call confirmation bias.
This is especially annoying when you’re playing MoP or another expac and it just fills up your chat box.

Agreed. It’s spammed a zillion times a day. It plays EACH TIME a single player completes the questline… ON THE ENTIRE SERVER. And the message itself is also Serverwide. It literally drives me insane. INSANE! Please find a way players can control this message, Blizzard? By the gods- It makes my eyes bleed.
but it so powerful it cause alexstrasza to roar across timelines. also on turalyon it only plays once or twice a day.

It fills up the chat box, and disrupts RPers on their realms, I can tell you that.
It shouldn’t be server wide for something so common. It’d be one thing if it took a lot of time and effort, so you didn’t see it that often. But on a busy server, it can happen dozens and dozens of times every day.
ETA: I’ve been in game all this time. On the server my leveling character is on, it’s gone 6 times in the last 20 minutes.
