While the game has many tools to practice PVP and solo player experiance through pvp it lacks an important tool for actually winning games.
I’m talking about Objectives. Most importantly flags, nodes, vehicles, and structures.
You can of course que into a random battleground and practice defending or attacking say a Arathi Basin Flag or Battle for Gilneas flag. But the experiance is vastly different in a rated battleground.
Having a toy that could imitate the function of a capturable flag could allow players to practice the functionallity of attacking and capturing in a rated setting without actually having to be in a rated battleground. This can also allow players the ability to experiment with solo flag defending and capturing in duels or team based practice in group FFA areas.
It is extremely useful to know what does and doesn’t work when it comes to objectives in pvp since losing one base, or node, or wall, could make the difference in not just random battleground but rateds too.
