Currently there are actual people playing priest even though its trash, the only thing that is going for it is penance, if we could get this nerfed basically no one would play it.
Lets see if we cant get blizzard to do it.

Even if you remove Penence I won’t stop playing priest and I won’t stop showing up other healers, because I am that damn good

Priest is the only class with a Magic dispel right now, that is more OP than Pennance.

True, it makes me not kill them sometimes because it heals for so much and is efficient. Nerf paladins too because they kill me in a hoj as well. Nerf it all so season of discovery basically becomes era. /s
SOD is interesting because so many people fail to realize it is simply Classic with a few different abilities added. There was never much of a chance lvl 25 raiding was going to be interactive; most classes don’t even have their core skills yet and we have 16 talent points. The idea the “Priest are bad” shows how many people have never healed and don’t understand how mana regen works in Classic.
Yes, Blizzard over tuned Paladins and they are strong at lvl 25. My 25 Priest has zero issues healing. Prayer of Mending is literally 1000 HP of healing, before BFD gear, for 70-80 mana on a 8 second CD. I can heal every dungeon with Penance and PoM while never dropping below 90% mana.
Sure in BFD it is easy to OOM. Most casters are in the same boat. There really was no way to fully balance each class so they would be amazing to play at each phase level cap. I will also point out that all the raids before 60 are just gimmicks; classes that “no one plays” like warriors and priests will be god tier in lvl 60 raids as they were already phenomenal with no changes.
Spriest is utter garbage and not even a thing so I won’t return until that is fixed
