Its obvious that the limited spawn recipes are no longer viable in 2025.
At any given time, there’s 5-10 people camping the vendor – most are level 1 bots, but there’s also numerous people simply camping in the hopes of sniping a recipe either for personal use or long term gain.
With the new megarealms, its almost impossible to get access to these recipes and they’re marked up by 1000-2000% minimum on the AH. As gold concentrates, the auction house bots also snipe these recipes to repost at massive increases as well.
While the mystery of rare spawn recipes is a great RPG element that was fun to pursue in the original days of WoW, in 2025 its simply a broken mechanic given the advantages market manipulators and bot owners have at scale.
Thank you for me Ted talk.

The worsr thing about the bag recipe is that the bags dont even sell well. Its bottlenecked by botters PURELY because tailors use making runecloth bags for ranks.
Im skipping runecloth bags out of spite. I refuse to spend 60g for a pattern that produces an item that sells for 2-4g per bag (i checked). Ill make frostweave gear for ranks before ill buy the runecloth bag pattern.

There was someone there today offering to sell multiple copies of each recipe for quite a lot. I tried for a bit but never did see any of them. Assuming insta buys.
This is absurdly incorrect. I don’t have data on the anniversary servers right now, but runecloth bags usually have one of the highest sale rates of any crafted item in the entire game.
rather than that, just make it so that when you buy it you get a debuff that prevents you from buying the same item again for 48 hours
Should be BOP at this point
