Suggestion: LW Legion, make objective non-PvP

For a few months now, I have been wanting to complete the quest " Trial of the Crusader: Hides of Legend"

Suggestion: Change the Baradin Hold quest objective to something else, a hide in another raid, that anyone of proper level can access anytime (that doesn’t involve PvP).

The Item “Hide of Occu’thar” has been unavailable for me to get, for months now. It requires my faction to be in control of Tol Barad. Everytime (except once) when I logged in, the enemy faction had control. The one time I did see it in my faction’s control, there was 3 minutes left when I had logged in, and I didnt find the entrance to the raid on time. I have never seen it in my faction’s control ever since.

I’ve read many posts of “just do it” “get a friend to help” and other varities of accepting it as it is, none of those things are workable solutions for me. Those who expect me to do it, probably dont understand the real life issue that I have no control over.

Any tiny reminder of PvP triggers my body into severe, life-threatening panic attacks. I hope Blizzard understands what this means. It is quite a severe pain and nuisance to have hovering over me 24/7, I need to avoid at all costs. And most of what I enjoy in WoW is done without PvP.

I was foolish enough to try and claim it today, but realized I have to ride these darn tractors, which I cant do in stealth. I saw one enemy faction player was out there, and I realized I will be unable to do this. Thank goodness for stealth, so my heart rate wont get any worse than it was.

I know this quest is old content, but I never finished it, on any character that I can recall. I also have other Leatherworkers who havent reached those levels yet. I lost track how many of my LWs have this quest still pending, or ditched the quest, never getting that part of the profession unlocked.

Until then, I will have to wait for a change. My only other option to complete it, is to camp at my faction’s non-pvp base for idk how many hours, cause it is too dangerous for me to try to claim Tol Barad myself. The Raid is easy, I could do it while nodding off… getting to the raid is in a whole other ball park.

TL;DR:
Suggesting quest objective changed to non-PvP requirements. I want to complete Leatherworking quest without risking a heart attack.

P.S. My character that has this quest in his log is not my posting character.

I would like to second this post. I don’t care if you want to make it another equally difficult mob in another dungeon but please make it one that you don’t have to have a faction which controls a zone to do.

I’m guessing that no one from Blizzard actually reads this forum or cares to reply to posts of this nature. “Let’s gate completing a profession quest behind something impossible to do because one has made an unfortunate choice to be a faction that isn’t popular on a given server.” I wonder how many other professions have similar quests that send them into Alliance/Horde PvP zones for a drop.

My guess is, not many.

I third this post. I prefer to not play PVP as it takes the enjoyment out of the game for me as the people killing you camp your corpse. I also have all my leather workers that can not complete this quest because of the PVP Aspecct.
