Suggestion - Ideas for extended content in Classic

I just wanted to get this out there because players were recently inquiring about extended content in classic, and this is something I’d like to see.

Scarlet Crusade Raid:

(Boss encounters are in no particular order.)

Get attuned by helping a couple try to infiltrate the Scarlet Crusade. At the end of the attunement questline, said couple becomes seduced by the Scarlet Crusade. In turn, they become one of the boss encounters of the raid.

First boss encounter:
Their primary abilities:
He leaves a pool of fire around himself that stays on the ground for at least a minute (leaves trail when kited). Periodically drops all threat.
She does an aoe (30yds) knockback (40yds).

Second boss encounter:
Count Tyrgen
Fought on a circular staircase (going up because floor stops existing after a while). Hits like Patchwerk. Periodically fears (can be line of sighted by center pillar; can be fear warded; can be totemed). Summons waves of adds (total of 50 adds; humanoid – Scarlet Crusaders).

Intermediate part of raid:
Raid members have to go through a swamp. Hanging immediately from the trees are heads of dragons (as big as Onyxia) chained to the trees. Looking farther up above in the trees, one can see bodies of heroes.

Third boss encounter:
Jai-Cur
A four-legged beast fitted with heavy make-shift armor. Periodically mauls whoever is in front of him. Has numerous howls: one that silences players in the middle of a cast, one that slows players, and one that calls adds (hounds).

Enter side door to monastery. Go through cellar. Enter into the catacombs.

The Gauntlet

In front of the raid:
Groups of mobs are humanoid Scarlet Crusade looking derelict (clothing-wise), but having a type of shadowflame aura that pulses damage to the raid members within 30 yards and puts a debuff on the player every 30 seconds (stacks) that multiplies the damage done to the player (3 stacks = death).

In back of the raid:
Waves of mobs are humanoid Scarlet Crusade looking normal (clothing-wise) that do not have the aura but want the aura.

Enter a new section of the monastery (still under construction), and then into a section of the monastery that looks done and pristine.

Fourth boss encounter:
A large hall from SM with columns. The arched ceiling should be decked with art depicting battles of long ago (e.g., a knight on guard, facing down a dragon - head on).

There should be knockback humanoid mobs (think Strath-like knockback) interspersed amongst an army of mobs that have the respawn timer and sheer number of mobs similar to the lyceum of BRD. In another phase in the room, there should be shades pouring from the walls (similar to the mobs appearing in fight against Gothik the Harvester.

The side walls should be lined with statues pouring holy water into (not deep enough to swim in) pools. Between each statue is a torch. Players (tanks) need to be knocked back into the statues in order to turn the statues’ pouring direction towards the torches. If x amount of seconds pass and they don’t get knocked into, they start to turn back. With every torch put out, smoke begins to fill the room. When all the torches go out, the darkness phase begins.

Incorporate a darkness phase similar to Kil’jaden:TOS, but instead of the raid all randomly searching for mobs in the darkness, have them forced to be stacked on (damn near) the tank (all the while they are getting knocked around). Have second tank have to tank a shade in a different phase (accessible only after defeating previous boss). Have first tank tank the knockback mob. Both mobs have to be over each other. The knockback mob will enrage, but will also be able to take damage. (No enrage = miss with each attack/ability by player, pet, helpful npc, etc.) Group in phase with shade have to fend against other shades coming from the walls. Shades have shadow damage aura (size of area of area of effect is small) on par with the void zones seen while fighting Grand Warlock Nethekurse. Shadow damage is only taken by players in the phase with the shade. When the shade that is being tanked over the knockback mob is over the knockback mob AND there is no darkness/smoke, then statues of angels shooting arrows will aim and shoot their arrows at the shade(s) (instant death if a player tries to block said arrows).

Shade dialog (when stacked on the knockback mob): “I took it from them. I starved them. Did they deserve it? – The Light never questions my credence of the lives I take. Yes, I serve the Light.” “…by my side.” To a paladin in the raid: “You are not like them.”

Knockback mob dialog (when stacked on a shade): “The Scarlet Crusade is and always will be…” “I yield to no one.” “May the Light save you.” To a priest in the raid: “I will save you.”

Fantastic, I’d love to see a scarlet crusade raid a 8-12 months after Naxx.

Don’t think we’ll see classic + but you get an A+ for the idea and imagination.

Awesome ideas

Maybe use the empty zone northeast of Trisfal Glades/Scarlet Monestary and call it like… Scarlet Village xD but my ideas aren’t as good

They can’t be bothered to do or say anything about the state of wpvp besides rush bgs and you want NEW CONTENT? GL!

Fifth boss encounter:
A hall lined on both sides with half-circular ramps (see Herod’s room in Armory) lined up side by side.

Main boss has 30 yard aura pulsing enervate (takes mana away with every tick). One humanoid add will come in from the top to the of one of the ramps and make their way towards the boss. Adds do a mana burn that can be line of sighted, however, if they don’t get a mana burn off (or if there is no more mana to burn on the player being targeted) by the third try, the nearest player will be mind controlled until the end of the boss encounter. If the boss is within line of sight of any of the adds, he will fear everyone and reset his threat meter. Adds come in every 15 seconds. Adds will heal themselves as well as the boss. Adds have twice as much hp as the boss. When the boss dies, these adds (and only these adds) get a debuff: “Daunted” – incoming damage increased by 200%.
