Due to legendary cloaks having an on-use effect, Engineers can no longer apply the Goblin Glider tinker to the cloak. This makes Engineering less desirable as one of the best tinkers is no longer usable. Also, I’m aware that there are crafted Goblin Glider Kits, but they can be used without Engineering so it doesn’t add any value to the profession.
Currently, there are Engineer specific toys already in the game. Some examples includes: Wormhole Generators, World Shrinker, Loot-A-Rang. Papa Ion please make the Goblin Glider a toy like these as well.

I’m no engineer, but this makes sense.
Engineering hasn’t gotten to do anything useful in so long.
It’s a waste of a profession slot.
The only thing engineering actually does is give blizzard an excuse to not make an engineer class.

YES! I’ve already maybe died an undisclosed amount of times from pushing the button where my glider macro is located. You can’t prove anything though. 
Edit: I would also like Super Safe Nitro Boost in Shadowlands Engineering please.

Oh God, I’ve been there before. In that moment. Where you know the glider distance is perfect to jump off a cliff and quickly get to your next objective, so you jump, hit the button and… “oh no… oh no oh no oh no oh noooooo!” SPLAT.
Now my “levitate” class ability occupies that spot on my action bar. Not that levitate is ever worth using to get somewhere (other than to quickly walk over a small pond). It’s just there in case my jumping habits thoughtlessly lead me to jump off a cliff to glide and I need to quickly avoid death because the glider isn’t on the cape anymore.
I don’t support this. Use glider kits for a patch and then everything will be back to normal.

I support this only if it’s like the death ray and other items that backfire. Would be funny to see people jumping off cliffs with a small chance they won’t make it without an emergency slowfall.
