now that a certain controversy and lawsuit has been resolved in a way, I was hoping blizzard would consider partnering with lego again to make some warcraft lego sets. call me childish but puting lego sets together is fun. i would most certainly enjoy putting together one of those huge 1000+ piece sets of say silvermoon city or stormwind or hellfire citadel or even thunder bluff.
Murloc Camp. And then you can make some generic adventurer Lego character clad in a helmet, shield and sword get swarmed.
Authentic WoW experience.
yeah they could have a hardcore classic set.
They had a contract with Mega Bloks a few years ago. Though the models looked more like WoW characters, seeing them as Legos would be preferable.
megablocks is just poor mans lego though. wouldnt be compatible with the tens of thousands of legos i have.
Holy cow that Goblin model.
I ain’t sure if it’s supposed to be an exoskeleton or not.
Path of Glory set, complete with fel orcs and steam roller
that would be part of the hellfire citadel set though.
As a kid I had like 20,000 legos. They’re still in a tub on my bedroom at my parent’s house.
So excuse me if I’m a bit of an elitist when I see a bunch of “megablox”. More like “dollar value lego knock offs”
No true brick afficianado would even touch a megablock
Yeah, not everything needs to be model perfect.
Sure this is a pic of Spider Man’s Green Goblin but despite not looking like Willem Dafoe’s model perfect Green Goblin it still looks great compared to the Mega Blox IMO.
i had two tubs. still searching for my second tub.
Still maintained my Legos. My nephews make heavy use of them nowadays. Two tubs worth, even.
I actually do wonder if Blizz reached out to Lego before Mega Bloks because before their waste product hit the fan and left them with lingering stains Blizz was a popular company and name.
But then again, I really don’t know when Lego started accepting and making licensed comic and movie sets so they could have turned Blizz down if it was before they started licensed sets.
I would buy the heck out of warcraft lego.
megablocks are for noobs
Sadly, I succumbed to temptation and did just that - to buy the ROFLCopter megablock set.
Big, big mistake. Low quality, pieces wouldn’t stay together. Every time I moved it on the shelf to dust, it would start falling apart at the slightest touch. I can’t imagine how a child would be expected to play with that sort of toy.
In the end, some superglue solved my problem. I’ve never, ever had to super glue Legos together.
It would be great if Lego and Blizzard partnered up (for everything except my wallet, of course).

Far as I know Lego licensing is extremely expensive. Their terms were probably much higher than Mega Blocks.
