This expansion seems underwhelming for Engineers. They should be able to make an item which can disenchant gear to enchanting Dust/Shards.
Whether you want to make it so everyone can use it Orr just engineers is completely Blizzard’s prerogative but I don’t see why this can’t exist.
Engineering is completely useless in Shadowlands. The only benefit to having Engineering is you can battle res (or kill yourself due to res failure), other than that… The gear you can make (1 gun, and 1 helm per armor class) is drastically under leveled… even with grinding exiled in the Maw to get Crafting mark II, by the time you complete that your gear will surpass what you can craft.
EVERY OTHER profession is viable. Engineering is not, DO NOT go Engineering.
This is coming from someone who maxed out engineering 2 days after launch.
I agree but what if you have it already. There are a lot of perks like Loot-a-rang, Nitro-boots, Teleports, goblin gliders, cloak enchants.
My point is just a device that can make it too you can DE something would help a bit.
I know your pain, and yes engineering does straight up suck.
they could have done some thing for us anything. wr could have been the ones to sell level upgrades, the stats, anything. but nope. lest I have all my cool stuff from 4 xpacs ago.

Why in the world would engineers (science) disenchant gear into (magic) components?
Are you gonna give enchanters your wormholes or belt tinkers to make up for stealing their profession?

The wormhole generator for shadowlands will get more use from me than i will get from any other profession except for maybe disenchanting.
The auction house perk + wormhole is actually useful multiple times every day, not for making money, but for convenience. Which is the only reason to have engineering. Add stuff from previous expansions that I still use many, many times daily (nitro boosts, goblin glider tinker, mol-e, jeeves, loot-a-rang, goblin jumper cables)
Most of the good stuff is from older expansions, but what do other professions get to use from older expansions…nothing!
The shadowlands wormhole is the best thing ever. 15 minute cd instant travel to any zone in the expansion including oribus and the maw. When flight paths take 3-5 minutes plus that long traveling to one.
Yes, the goggles are a travesty. By the time I could make them I had a helm 29 ilvl higher…

For any Profession guide , engineering giving you the options in the different sections of the town have difference leaning like on for the litch king you go to in a specific area of a town in storm wind and one in another section to learn dranor and one for e out lands in the main cities of storm wind and orgimar
