Suggestion: extended newcomer chat

  • Request option for new players and guides to opt into an extended newcomer chat.

-have a community vote on how many days played until new players are removed from the extended newcomer chat.

-advise new players whenever they log in as to how long they have before they are removed from newcomer / extended newcomer chat.

*I have seen many instances of new players wishing they still had access to this feature.

other thoughts:

-Allow people to vote on newcomer chat moderators (think green text in the forums)

-allow players to initiate votes to kick people from newcomer chat (this would be for anyone harassing or advertising in newcomer chat , or really any reason that would cause the majority of people to agree that a player should be removed from the chat channel

-will edit and update as new ideas are suggested
