Dividers that are colorful, reasonably sized, and artistic could help people organize their thoughts into different sections and reduce eye strain while sifting through people’s feedback and ideas (especially longer posts).
Different colors could also help certain words or paragraphs pop out (it’d help for when you don’t feel like reading the whole posts but want to know what it’s about - the colored buzzwords or paragraphs stand out - either the text could be colored or it could be highlighted with different colors).
Just a thought. You don’t have to do it now but I promise it would help reduce eye strain and save you a lot of time while reading through posts.
There could also be an option to turn it off (or opt in or opt out of it).
whatever design they have is fine. it doesn’t need to be turned into a horrorshow of different fonts and colors and highlights and comic sans.
there’s a lady at work who uses different font colors to highlight words she thinks are important. it’s infantile and obnoxious. I’d hate to see that kind of stuff here.
Anyway, no. colors are generally bad. Color scheme is as it is for a reason.
Format with line breaks / plain horizontal dividers, collapsible headers, and font sizes and such, if you really need to. This is a forum, not your high school notebook.
