Suggestion: Allow Rogues (of the right level) to create lockpicking keys and sell them in AH. Allow inscriptionists to create and sell lockpicking scrolls (not just the raw mats.)
(Just now in Stormwind [with my warrior], several of us tried to get lockboxes open, but it doesn’t work cross realm and we were out of luck with locals to our realms.)
Do blacksmiths no longer make skeleton keys?
Yes, but I think the same cross realm issues apply, and for some strange reason the keys cannot be sold.
Edit: I suppose it’s so they don’t have an advantage over Rogues, but that could be solved if Rogues could craft and sell [Disposable Lock Picker].
I thought you just put the box in the “will not be traded” slot and have the rogue apply his lock picking to it, much like an enchant.
I will admit I haven’t unlocked anyone boxes in a long time despite maining rogue; so I don’t recall what the crossrealm rules are.
Would love to see this. Would also like to see mages put their portal on scrolls also.
