Something that might be worth adding to the transmog system would be an option at the Transmogrifier where you could toggle the visibility of the lower-front and lower-back portions of tabards (hide both lower portions/show both lower portions/show front side only/show back side only), especially since there seem to be some items that don’t play nice with them, whether it be clothing/weapons/shields/etc.
For example, when wearing Suffused Leggings, any tabard that you have on will look fine in the front, but the back of the tabard clips though the garment and flaps around while running:
There are belts that can hide the bottoms of tabards and eliminate clipping issues altogether, but such belts can be few in number (depending on the chest/leggings you’re wearing), the available belts may not match your outfit, and hiding the front of the tabard can ruin the desired look in some cases.
Having an advanced way to toggle the appearance of tabards might even encourage more people to use the wide variety of cool tabards that are available in-game!
