In Dragonflight, there is no uncommon (or green quality) Haste + Mastery gem like there is for Haste + Vers (Energized Vibrant Emerald), Haste + Crit (Crafty Queen Ruby), Crit + Mast (Sensei’s Sundered Onyx), and Vers + Mast (Zen Mystic Sapphire).
There is only rare quality Haste + Mastery gems, which can be expensive if you need to buy multiples, since there is no way to save your gems when you get new gear. There’s also no uncommon Crit + Vers (only rare quality versions liek Radiant Malygite).
I don’t think Crit + Mast, Crit + Vers, and Vers + Mast, should use uncommon gems though, since they are rarely used (price for them is lower therefore quantity is also lower- economics 101), they should use rare quality gems. However, the price for rare quality mats is much higher and should be lower but they’re much higher since demand is needed for them. Haste is more commonly needed for a majority of classes. Therefor they should use uncommon gems not rare ones… no?
Unless you are purposely doing this, like a major diamond factor here in the real world where they would destroy supplies in stock to keep creating higher prices. SOOO make those rare quality drop rate higher??.. Maybe? …idk? it seems only natural that more demand for something should lower prices.
I don’t understand, what do mean by common vs rare gems. If I’m not mistaken there is a haste+mastery gem but I’m not logged in to verify. Blue gems are vers+stat gems

What are you talking about OP?
Also rather all gems be around the same probably with a marginal bias to vers for PvPers.
Price of rare gems has gone to rock bottom in all quality very fast in this expansion. Only the awakened elements define there prices really. You would actually gem your newly acquired mythic slotted gear with basic uncommon gems if there was a haste/mastery one?
Oh Sorry, green actually means uncommon but I mean more common than blue. Just like how there are orange items, white items, greys, purple, ect. The gems themselves aren’t blue or green, but their text is which means how rare they are. Just like how legendary items are orange.
I can’t post an image or send links for examples :(, but if you look in the AH, you can click on filter and choose by color/rarity.
The gems are colored by what their primary stats are, not rarity. Blue is vers, green is haste, red is crit and purple is mastery.
There are rare energized ysemerald and uncommon energized gems that give the same stats - Thats beside the point, I’m not talking about the colors of those gems. I know emeralds are green for haste and rubies are red for crit etc. I’m talking about the stats they have haste+mastery, specifically, only has rare keen gems because it uses only rare mats unlike the other gems that uses uncommon mats, but there is no uncommon mats to make haste+mastery (keen ysemerald) gems.
But there should be since there are uncommon gems for the other stats:
Mastery + Crit gem (Sensei’s Sundered Onyx),
Haste+ Crit (Crafty Queen’s ruby)
Mastery + Vers (Zen Mystic Sapphire)
Haste + Vers (Energized Vibrant Emerald)
I’m sure jewelers would like it too, since the mats to create the gems are more expensive then what these are selling for on the AH =\
@Kaladnei - Yes, because i would be buying in bulk price. I usually buy more crafty queen’s ruby and few keen ysemerald because crafty ysemerald is 300g and can’t afford the amount for a majority of socketed items. If they had uncommon keen I would buy more and the jewelers could ask for whatever price they wanted as long at it was under 100g like the crafty and sensei’s gems.
The mats for rousing elements and basic gems (Queens Ruby, Mystic Sapphire, Sundered Onyx, etc.) are far more affordable for jewelers to make those gems and profit on. That’s why there’s more of those gems too.
However, there are few Keens Ysemerald on the market (and diminishing to prob nothing in the future) because crafters are losing profit to create them. BUT haste + mastery is needed for majority of the most popular classes in wow like, pally, druids, hunters, etc. which are played the most. SO, everyone would win, sellers and buyers!
