You dont need new slots, max level characters are NEVER DELETED. I just delete characters and undelete them when I want to play them.
That sounds risky, Blizzardâs hard drive could be almost full.
In my opinion, if Blizzard went the WoW Token route, then the average person would say, âWho needs more character slots?â, shrug their shoulders, and go about their day. Nobody reacts anymore when a 6-month or 12-month package is added to the Blizzard store, so I couldnât see this making many waves. It would simply sit there right next to the character boost option.
If Blizzard decided to go with a free route and award older accounts with more character slots per year, then it would be the same difference with those who do not have 60+ characters. It would great for those that do have 60+ characters, though.
Just to be 100% clear on my end, are you saying you prefer to have no option but to delete your characters rather than having the option to save them?
It used to be 60, want to know how I learned? I had to start deleting lesser alts to make new characters. I would rather take 2 days to level a toon to max than to constantly pay for server transfers.
The option to purchase a WoW Token for extra character slots would be just that - an option. So, if you wanted to continue deleting characters, then you could still do that.
However, would it not be better to at least have the option increase the number of character slots if you wanted to?

crazy to ppl prefer having nothing than u have the option to have something
hopefully devs are kinder than ppl here man
Hey!
For the most part, I think the thread has run its course. Hopefully, like you said, developers include a method for those of us who would like to increase the number of character slots on 1 account. As a whole, I can only see it being a good thing those who would like it and non-impactful to those that do not.
At any rate, unless the conversation picks up or new ideas are brought up, this is will probably be my last response here as well.
Hereâs to hoping!
