I would like to suggest a small change for mounts in WotLK. I would also be interested to see how others feel about it too. I just recently got the 100 mount achive and i notice it kind of sucks there is not a lot of area’s you can actually show off your flying mounts. The first suggestion is to make all flying mounts work the same way Headless Horseman, Kalu’ak Whalebone Glider and Festering Emerald Drake. You can use those 3 mounts in none flying area’s, but just doing fly. The second suggestion, is once someone unlocks 310% mount speed. All flying mounts should now have the ability to go 310% otherwise you kind of feel like you can only use few faster few and never use the 280%. Any just a suggestion that doesnt actually mess with the original content of the game.
I hate seeing these in non-flying areas. It looks so out of place.
What, you don’t like 90% of your flying mounts to be useless?
In Dalaran you can fly in over the well near the bank and hover to show off any flying mount you want.
Dalaran has a lot of traffic and everyone can bask in your glory as you afk.
I mean 90% of the mounts are pretty bad tbf.
I just think it’s lame that the game influences you to NOT ride your favorite mount because it’s not the fastest.
IMO we should be able to upgrade individual mounts for gold. It would be a gold sink which is needed, and it would also cause you to choose which mount can be upgraded instead of just waving a wand and saying “They’re all fast now”
I’d love to be able to upgrade my rare blue proto to 310 for X gold (after first obtaining a 310 mount from a traditional source such as achieve, Ashes, or gladiator), or my 60% black stallion horse to 100% for X gold (after first obtaining 100% mounts at level 40), for example.
It’s good game design, makes RPG sense, has no downsides, doesn’t harm a soul.
you don’t need a gold sink if bots would get banned and people would actually get perma banned for buying gold.
Yeah bro I’m here trying to make realistic suggestions. Stop coming in with dreamy wish lists that will never happen.
you literally just suggested Blizzard should add upgrades to existing mounts (from a game that is 15 years old or so), a feature that does not even exist in retail wow as far as I know.
But sure… “realistic” suggestion. lol
Mine may not happen, but yours is an impossibility.
Neither will happen.
