When turning in 5 Wards of Fyrakk to the Suffusion mold it will consume all of them in your inventory AND all of them from members in your party. when it consumes them from your party members they do not receive a key like you do.
This is possibly related to the world quest completing as it was always the last step I completed when this happened.
