I got the suffused chocker today. il 493, 1/8 champion track and I tried to socket it with the sockets JC’s make. It wont take the sockets. I just get the message “this item cannot be socketed”
is this a bug? please fix it
if its the item itself you wont allow players to socket it should be removed from the loot table completely, those of us who have the item and trying to use it should be compensated for this failure

Many raid necks can’t be either.
We’re all waiting on a fix, or even acknowledgement…
I opened a ticket and got a response that it had been hot fixed. I tried it again and same error. I’ll reopen the ticket and hopefully it will actually get fixed.
for what it is worth i just attached 3 slots to a 515 neck from the vault last tuesday.
the tiered medallions have always had the description of “add one socket to an endgame dragonflight necklace” (or something very similar in previous seasons). maybe it’s level based?
No it cant be, because I have a blue adventurer in my bag that can be socketed. The Suffused Choker is Champion Gear.
yeah its a bad bug, but we’ll be into the next content patch, or possibly expansion before its addressed the way things are going

I just gave up on getting the Suffused Choker fixed. They should just remove it from the Cache of Awakened Embers if it’s not end game enough you know.
well if I get something in my vault next reset I can assure you I will disenchant this neck
Deeprock Pendant is the same. I am sure glad we tested this patch. Tickets are up to a 9 day response time.
Even after the hotfix today that claimed these would be fixed, they’re not.
502 Champ track Neck cannot be socketed.
" * Veteran and Champion track rings, necklaces, and armor obtained from outdoor activities should now be eligible for socket upgrades. This fix is retroactive."
OF NOTE - I had deleted the neck figuring the issue would not be resolved (and haven’t had a better neck drop/vault yet). I RESTORED the neck tonight just to socket it.
Perhaps that is the issue. If so - help?
That is indeed the issue. Items that were deleted before the hotfixes and then restored after the hotfixes will not be affected by the hotfixes.
