I like the idea of Execute poping up, but in the middle of a fight I can’t keep track of my tool bar to monitor when it pops? Am I missing something other then being able to execute the ltttle princess caster in front of me?
While I wont assume lots of players do this, most high end players will use addons or UI reworks that allow them to see when procs happen without actively montioring their buff bar or action bar.
A pretty light addon thats popuplar is Weak Auras, can make it track anything you want and place the icons anywhere on your screen.
Thank you, that is the info I was looking for, I do find it odd how some procs for toons will display on screen and some don’t. At least I am not missing something.
Rather than trying to look at your action bars on the edge of your screen, generally you want to arrange your UI in a way that puts all the important info near the center. Cooldowns and resources are placed in the bottom-middle of the screen, so that you can see them while also watching what’s going on. Then when Execute procs, the lit-up icon is right there, instead of in your peripheral vision.
There are lots of addons that can do things like this for you, with various amounts of customization required. Personally I use Afenar’s WeakAura pack: https://wago.io/Afenar_Warrior, which won’t require any further setup besides installing the WeakAuras addon and importing the string from the website.
A WeakAura for it would be the most customizable option. It also shows up on the Blizzard resource bar (which is odd, since other things–such as Whirlwind/Meat Cleaver don’t).
My UI is a redundant mess at the moment, so I think I have a TMW for it on top of the Blizzard resource bar. lol However, I’m also used to seeing it light up mid-fight.
