Succubus is sexist please remove/ incubus incoming

My opinion is it should be a choice because if you just straight up remove the succubus and replace it with the incubus that is just male objectifying cause a incubus is literally the same thing as a succubus just a male

No, they didnā€™t. I know inside sources since I myself played for the mens team in 1990.

so yeah. all the things get removed over not being appropriate and offensive then they add a mail demon thing that will screen sexually suggestive things at you as it beats you down i mean really what the heck

So it was sexist and needed to be removed but itā€™s ok if they add something that you like (that could also be considered sexist). Gotcha.

This thread needs to be removed.

They made more than the men. Its in the lawsuit. They had to list their earnings and so did the men. They objectively made more than the men. In fact they have been making money this whole time because they have a deal with guaranteed pay where the men have to play to get paid. The men have been making a bug ol goose egg during covid and no games being played.

There was a new contract made and given to the men and women and the women rejected it. They arent looking for equal pay.

See this is when I have a problem, because it sounds based on that sort of conduct, like they want supremacy. Seems to be what most groups who evoke the equality gig usually are really after.

People who were oppressed, donā€™t want to be equal, they want to be the new oppressors and shove their new social standing into everyoneā€™s face regardless of who they hurt in the process. In such contemptible peopleā€™s minds this is alright, except for when itā€™s done to them. But as long as they are benefiting from it, itā€™s kosher. Otherwise itā€™s a moral crime and anyone who disagrees is a hater, phobe, racist etc. etc.

Most people however are sick of the lack of equity and prefer to call out hypocrisy regardless of which side which engages in it. Some of us want ā€˜no Dark Lordā€™ instead of a new one, to wax Tolkien. We want the cycle of nonsense broken.

NO they didnā€™t, OMG. I know higher ups in the US Soccer, I coach the U10 Olympic development team. You arguing with someone that has insight cause they played for the team, it would be like me arguing with someone who works at Disney.

You are being misinformed, the men got paid more because people went to the games. For as good as our womenā€™s team is no one really went to the games especially after some of the stunts they pulled.

Its in their lawsuit. The women objectively made more than the men. I really donā€™t care what you have done back in 1990. We are talking about their recent lawsuit.

Both the men and women were offered the same contract and the women declined. They had different contracts. The men had play to get paid contract with 0 guaranteed money. The women didnt get as much per game/win but they had guaranteed pay plus a whole bunch of other perks.

They were on national tv, was asked if they were offered the menā€™s contract would they take it and they basically said no but gave a non direct answer.

The new contract that they were offered, both teams, was to split the earnings 50/50. The women get 50% of what the men get, and the men get 50% of what the women get. The women refused that contract as well. They want to get what the men are able to get while keeping their guaranteed pay and all of their benefits that the mens contract doesnā€™t have.

The men have made 0 dollars because there havent been any games to play due to covid. The women however have guaranteed pay in their contract so for at least an entire year they have been getting paid to do absolutely nothing.

Maybe you should look at the lawsuit they had. Their contracts are in it and so is how much they made. The judge threw the case out.

They donā€™t get paid more than the men, that is why they sued!

And they lost because they made more than the men did.

Not sure you understand how the dominatrix thing works. The lady with the whip chose to dress like that, and she is the one in control.

But go ahead and change the game into a feel good safe space. That should work out well for this war game.

The stereotype is basically a male warlock is the slave and would have his succubus be their dominatrix, but for a female warlock itā€™s the opposite, it is they who have to be the dominatrix and the incubus is the slave. Itā€™s more of gender connected stereotype.

I was thinking more IRL, since itā€™s impossible to offend the in-game characters. Female Warlocks should be able to have male succubi if they want though. Fair is fair.

Youā€™d think Blizzard would take note, since thatā€™s what most people also donā€™t want in their games. We donā€™t pay them to use their products as a personal soapbox , tell us we should feel guilty for enjoying their older games, or that weā€™re the problem for asking about future content.

If folks canā€™t stomach the materials they are working on, they are in the wrong field.

Blizzard made itā€™s name by being sometimes uncomfortably dark and brutally realistic. Thatā€™s why they were #1. Because in an age with Patricia Pulling and others like her, they did not shy away from grim dark stuff. If anything they openly embraced it and then dared people to say something about it.

They created characters like ā€œThe Butcherā€ from Diablo I, despite other companies at the time like Nintendo removing content, like blood from Mortal Kombat. Hell do people remember Archbishop Lazarus? The dude was sacrificing CHILDREN.

What do these people think Diablo is in Spanish? The word for sunshine?

Blizzard embraced what others tried to avoid, and then they dialed it up to 11. That is what built their fan base. Oh Iā€™m sure thereā€™s plenty of younger employees who think they are the newest, best, and most original thing around; and who might not like it. But the fact is people pay for that sort of thing, not a dissertation on societal woes and social injustice.

They can either accept that and make money, or be ready to lose to others who will. As I see it, weā€™re one Warcraft styled spiritual successor MMO away from them losing control, much like Konami did when IGA and the fans made Bloodstained and then two retro spin-offs with Michiru Yamane.

If they donā€™t have the will to do it, others can and will take up the torch.
