Subtlety Rotation Clarifications

Good afternoon everyone.

I picked up a Rogue in the pre-patch to change things up a bit, and I’m currently really enjoying playing Subtlety (both in solo and group content). However, I’m wanting to make sure I’m understanding the core elements of the rotation properly.

I know I am to maintain Slice and Dice and Rupture, but… should I be focused on (re)applying those with a certain number of combo points, or should I simply be focused on ensuring they don’t fall off? Put another way, should I be aiming to (re)apply Slice and Dice and Rupture at 4+ combo points, or is it efficient and worthwhile to (re)apply those at lower combo points?

You use rupture/slice at 4+ combo or at 5+ if using deeper stratagem talent.

You want to have rupture and slice and dice up all the time and you dont want having to reapply them at all during shadow dance window. So you reapply those before going in dance if they gonna fall off during the window. With pred talent that give 10 sec of slice when you cast dance does smooth out the rotation.
