Dear Game Master / Support Team,
I’m reaching out to respectfully request your urgent assistance with an unresolved issue tied to the completion of the Onyxia attunement quest chain on my level 60 Alliance Paladin, Thalorin. (btw GM Yirasayo suggested I post in here after looking into my last few tickets, thanks Yarisayo!)
Upon turning in the final quest, I deliberately selected the Onyxia Tooth Pendant an item that aligns perfectly with my character’s needs as a Retribution Paladin who also heals in battlegrounds. To my surprise, I received a completely unrelated trinket that appears more suited for a Warrior tank something that holds no utility for my class or role. This was not a misclick; I clearly selected the pendant as my reward.
After realizing the error, I attempted to resolve it by discarding the incorrect item in hopes that it would allow me to re-select the appropriate reward. Unfortunately, that didn’t work. I’ve since submitted multiple tickets over the past few weeks, but despite continued dialogue, the issue remains unresolved.
To be clear, I am not asking for a class-inappropriate item or an extra reward. I’m simply requesting the item I originally selected and should have received: the Onyxia Tooth Pendant. This situation appears to be a rare bug, and I’ve been unable to find any existing documentation or precedent for it.
Please escalate this issue to a senior GM or developer if necessary. I’ve invested considerable time completing the questline with the intention of obtaining this specific item. It would be incredibly disheartening to walk away from this milestone without the appropriate reward due to a technical mishap.
I truly appreciate your time, and I trust that the integrity and fairness Blizzard is known for will prevail here.
