In 20 days. Levelled my pally to 80, tried playing my dk, druid, and rogue, and its just not there. Games cooked for me, ill let my sub lapse and check on the game from time to time with a trial account. Not worth paying $15 a month for when there are better games that cost less and keep my progress AND my playstyle.

Yep that’s because the majority of the people that make these posts aren’t really quitting. They are looking for validation for how they feel.
However there are those who simply click the unsub button and unbookmark the forums then walk away and never come back. They don’t hang around the forums after because they no longer care they’re done. Those are the people who truly quit.
If you’re sitting here making post and replying to post the after you’ve unsubbed? You haven’t truly quit you’re just lying to yourself.

I do wish there was a way for us to know and keep up with who actually quit, and who just wanted to make a post complaining about the state of the game.
Like a “They finally left” leaderboard, or something.

Just look at general discussion 2 years ago. Go through about 20 threads clicking on high post count characters, regulars.
See that they haven’t logged in since Shadowlands.

Nah, i wont be. Nothing worth subbing for, i can hop on a trial account if i want to get into the game to see how release is faring. Not buying midnight, didnt buy tww, probably not gonna buy tlt. Might sub for a month here or there for some community events but my community is falling apart that i am part of so again possibly no reason to come back, def not gonna be playing endgame with this junk of a release.
And the post is not for validation, its for the people to see who don’t get to see the comments i put in cancelling my sub. They may not ever read those either, but at least here my reasoning gets views from anyone interested

Wow is wow… An expansion isn’t a new game but a continuation. If it’s not worth it anymore to you it’s not worth it.
I enjoy the gameplay but despise the story it’s not enough to get me out of it but wished it sucked less.
yeah this pre patch is pretty bad, Midnight is not looking great.

Why would i come back in march? I havent played a current xpac since bfa, and likely never will unless the game gets better. Not interested in woke garbage.

You’re interested enough to, if we take you at your word, whine that the game isn’t conservative enough for you for 8 years now while you literally still play it, as evidenced by your achievements.
