Sub rogue with BIS gear

the ideal situation would be something shadowstrike-dominant but say 60/40 (strike/evis ratio)

right now it seems like what, 15 shadowstrike 85 evis-dominant?

(ignoring backstab for this)

Like if shadowstrike did damage weā€™d be fine but clearly it doesnt so we struggle to burst anything down

Good thing they basically just got nerfed again (not anything meaningful) but hey pve reasons right. Fix the spec. The training wheels one was never meant to be top tier

I have always liked sub. I have lvled exclusively as sub and really like the spec. I have to agree from a lvlijg perspective tho and occasional wpvp though that it does feel like maybe I have a skill that does more damage that Eviscerate but I am not using it. Like I must be missing something because Evicserate feels weak. I usually wait until a mob has around 500hp. Then I know it will almost always kill that mob. I did have a few go arounds with an spriest and only once while he was fighting stuff did he go down quickly. The final time I lost. Last fight between us was a few minutes and although I probably should have win, I couldnt find a way to out enough dmg down on him to finish it. This spec is missing something but it feels fun.

i have been trying to watch you stream but never find it! do you still stream? i have watch other teams play against you but never find your games!

Sub has the most incredible utility and movement, but the damage output paired with survivability is just pitiful. You can do really good damageā€¦ every 3 minutes. Outside of Shd, sub has nada. I played the entire of Legion and up until 4 days ago of BfA as sub and it has been excruciating at times, but now itā€™s just unbearably bad.

I would recommend that Blizz looks into reducing shadow dances like the way they were before (WoD, for example) and make the baseline 2, with a talent for 1 with dark shadows or some kind of similar buff. That way sub can go back to being a spec that isnā€™t consistent damage, but goes into shadow dancing and wreaks havoc, which actually takes far more pooling and pre-planning than now.

Just my 2 cents. Iā€™m REALLY enjoying outlaw now that Iā€™m getting the hang of it, and donā€™t feel completely useless or just a CC machine anymore.
