I’m actually kind of with you on that.
Sub doesn’t feel overwhelming in comparison to all the other garbage rn. And the healer meta generally makes sub less problematic.

sub gets 1 free cheap shot every stealth or shadow dance, so increasing its energy cost doesn’t really do anything while that talent exists. delete that talent :>

This is not possible, as there is a 2 second delay between the first and second hits of Secret Technique, leaving time to react to the hit. This is in combination with cheapshot and shadowdance being used prior to the ability.

I don’t have the screenshot, maybe it was Shadowy Duel and Details interaction, but my partner died from a sub and the death log showed in the .3 second window before death:

Secret technique deals 3 instances of damage. The second and third are dealt by shadow clones, and occur roughly 1 second and 1.3 seconds after the initial cast. So yes, 2 instances of damage occur within .3 seconds of each other.
Press a defensive then. CC the rogue during shadow dance. Considering the self heals and the longevity of damage output of other classes, you’re worried about the damage a sub rogue does that requires setup to do any of that damage.
The only way ST is hitting near those numbers is if you or your partner is in blues. Otherwise its average hits range from 65-90k
