After CDR nerf, we currently dont have enough Dance to do damage. We already low on damage before the nerf. Now after 2 dances for the first minute, we basically run around try to stay alive til next Dance which is 30-40s then we have 8s for Dance then we run around for 40s again. You nerf our biggest defensive but only give us 6% dmg buff and that supercharge talent that nobody want to use. If you pick that talent then you cant have tea with only 100 energy or cant have extra vanish. Atleast buff our Deepening shadow to 1s per combo points spent so we can have our Dance faster. Or maybe revert CDR but nerf it to 50%. Look at those Pally change this patch, 20s forbearance , bubble heal while forbearance, 10% stun reduction, LoH 30% armor buff. They literally dont die.
I strongly believe that they are not done reworking Sub in patch 11.1. There is currently patch 11.0.7 coming up but that is more of a mini patch with content. Now, if patch 11.0.7 has some Rogue improvements and buffs that would be a pleasant surprise.
You guys need to mention if youre talking from a PvE or PvP perspective… for PvE Sub currently feels the same as it did before the patch just with less Vanish pressing and longer defensive CDs
Yeah that is the same feedback on the EU forums for Sub Rogue PVP and PVE.
It is very noticeable change.
I think CDR on Deepening Shadow is ramped up slight again to original base.
Of course PVP. I did mention run around for 40s to stay alive til next dance. CDR doesnt make big different for PVE but for PVP its live or die moment in that 30s. You know how long is 30s when you dont have cd up when a monk or warrior chasing you?
I agree 100%.
The spec will be reworked to function again in all aspects of the game with the loss of Invigorating Shadowdust. To what extend that will be depends on the data the BlizZard farms from the live client.
Up please so Blizzard can see it.
I agree that we need to keep this topic to the forefront. Sub needs help to polish it up to be an excellent spec. Right now it is in a good category but I think with some touch ups it can be in a very good/excellent category for all aspects: Leveling, questing, M+, raiding, world pvp/unrated pvp, and rated PVP game play.
