Sub rogue is garbage in torghast blizzard

these powers are ridicolous, how im supposed to kill the final boss with that? i need to do basically everything 100% perfectly in strategic ways, in order to not take much damage and deal the most amount i can possible deal.
But its horrible.
Sub rogue anima powers in the most of the time are simple garbage, the best anima power for sub rogue by far is being able to jump really high so you can keep running away from the boss, its so stupid.

Sub rogues are fine in torgast.

I don’t know how it is for other classes, but I don’t really think we have many cool upgrades. There’s a couple interesting ones, but most of them are boring or don’t really add much when it comes down to killing the final boss.

I thought the explosives added to distract were pretty cool.

The main ones I have been aiming for are the buffs for ER.

The added CP and reset for landing the Charged cp are strong.

What talents are you taking? Once I changed that it helped a ton, as did quick gearing through PvP. Versatility helps the solo runs some.

Necrons don’t seem to get good buffs. They mostly up the damage and turn it into a cleave attack. One of them ups the damage by 500% but you have to cast it from like 50 yards away meaning you lose out on your openers. Plus the base damage is already so low that any buffs to the damage don’t really help unless the fight goes on for a stupidly long time and by that point most people are dead.

I ran the mythic build with secret technique

Thats what I was running as well without secret technique - I think you were the one that posted it in another forum question about Torghast. 1322331

Sub rogue hasn’t been that bad for me. I cleared all the levels so far at 152 ilvl and only had to reset twice.

Some of the bosses I will admit are ridiculously overtuned, like grand malleare and patrician cromwell. They aren’t impossible though with good anima powers and smoke bombs.

sub rogues are not proportionately given good powers like other classes. I was being carried through my last layer 3 this week (I literally failed soulforges 4 times in a row before I caved and asked for help) and my paladin partner, bless his soul, was complaining about how he got bad powers for the run. He was tanking all the hits and pulling 5-8 mobs at a time with little issue…

Even with the best build ive gotten so far, I havent been able to do near that. Its ridiculous.

Half of my anima powers buff flagellation and door of shadows Lmao.

Sub is fine in Upper Reaches, but the Soul Forge bosses with the stacking buff that makes them hit harder, run faster and debuffs healing are impossible. I take zero damage and face zero risk until the final boss is Soul Forge, then it’s gg. I have even tried chain CC until the buff wears off, only it doesn’t wear off like that. At 6 stacks, it’s a 3 shot.

None of the caster bosses in upper reaches are difficult. Just interrupt them and it’s easy.

i found rogue anima powers are less powerful than some other classes. My balance druid for instance can kill a layer 3 boss in about 10 seconds in a good run. But sub is not horrible, you just can’t faceroll and have to use your stuns, kicks, defensives.

It’s not impossible if you use your toolkit.

I had challenges, but was able to complete all floors.
The anima power to have SB cast AD and Vendetta really helped a lot for insane burst.
